Round Four Update
Sherry has two more Prednisone pills, and that will be almost all for the current cycle of chemotherapy. One chemical (Oncovin) was eliminated this time around, because of possible neurological effects. She has been having some trouble with numbness in her fingers and feet, and some clumsiness walking. The doctor decided she may be getting too much Oncovin, and dropped it from his orders. As a result, this week has been easier on her than previous chemotherapy weeks.
Monday she will get two shots: one to boost her white blood cell production and another for her red blood cells. Each of them causes bone aches and possibly muscle aches, especially in the pelvis.
Sherry is feeling pretty good today, if a bit tired. We went to a large mall and walked the entire place this afternoon.

I stumbled across your blog completely by accident and don't mean to intrude - I just wanted to express my sympathy. I have several very close family members who are currently being treated for cancer, or who have recovered. My heart goes out to you both.
